Professional Recording and Production
Harbour Records supports young people by providing not-for-profit recording and production of original music.
Our producers are expert professionals, with experience of working with young people, and will support you to produce a professional recording – even if this is your first experience!
We will arrange Recording Studio hire in a Dorset, East Devon or South Somerset venue.
Recording and production costs vary depending on the complexity of your project, the number of instruments and tracks. Please contact us to request a quote for your project.
(For information – To get a professional recording of a 4-piece instrumental/vocal band playing 1 track is likely to take 4 hours of recording, 4 hours of editing and cost around £550). Solos/ duos will cost less.)
Releasing your music
Young people aged 15 – 25 can release their original music on our Harbour Records Label.
Harbour Records is a not-for-profit Record Label, set up to support young people’s music making. We take a very small percentage profit share to cover costs, all other profits remain with the artist.
